Fastline Freight's new Class 66s arrive in the UK
Sunday 22 June marked the arrival of the first of Fastline Freight’s new Class 66 locomotives (66301, 66304, 66305) at Newport Dock following a 12 day journey from EMD in Canada.

On Monday 1st October 2007 Fastline Freight officially named one of its Class 56 locomotives – 56302 – Wilson Walshe.
£40 million E.ON contract for Fastline Ltd
Fastline Limited has secured a five-year contract to haul coal for E.ON UK plc, the UK’s largest integrated power and Gas Company. The contract will commence in April 2008 and has an expected value of £40 million over the five-year period with the potential for extensions of up to a further five years.
Slinger 5 makes succesful debut during Spalding blockade
The Jarvis Rail and Network Rail London North East Integrated Management Team (IMT) was first to utilise Fastline’s fifth track renewals system (TRS or Slinger). Slinger 5 was deployed by the Peterborough team during a successful two week blockade at Spalding in Lincolnshire in February 2007.

Fastline secures multi-million pound contract in Network Rail national tender
Fastline Ltd has signed a multi-million pound contract with Network Rail for the delivery of on-track machines, as part of a three-year contract, with options to extend up to five years. The contract will be worth £22 million in the first year.
The Fastline contract, which will start in April 2006, is part of Network Rail’s national tender for 107 tampers, regulators and dynamic track stabilisers. Fastline will supply a good proportion of the on-track machines. Fastline is one of a number of companies to be awarded contracts under the tender.
